Who We Are

Joyful Noise was started over 15 years ago by Gail Smith and her two daughters, Ashley Becton and Monica Vandiver. All three are classically and professionally trained as music educators and have dedicated their lives to spreading the joy of music to the families of  West Texas. When not teaching private lessons and classes, they are constantly looking to the future of music education, bringing the latest and best practices in student development to the Joyful Noise family.

What’s Going On

There’s something for everyone at Joyful Noise! Whether it’s private lessons or group classes, from babies all the way to adults, Joyful Noise offers the highest quality in musical training and makes the learning experience fun and highly impactful.

Along with a large, professionally trained, staff, Joyful Noise provides lessons in a wide range of instruments as well as unique musical opportunities, like our Music and Movement classes and Drums Alive program. It’s also extremely important to Gail, Ashley, and Monica that each student and family finds the right fit for them, which is why there’s a flexible schedule and the Joyful Noise staff works hard to pair students with the perfect teacher at the right weekly time slot.
