Jumpstart to Reading classes focus on instilling many skills associated with beginning reading. Handwriting skills, letter and number recognition, sounds, and guided reading are all taught through academic centers in each class. These important components provide exposure and support children as they begin to learnhow everything works together in order to read. Beginning reading skills can be seen early and the invaluable introduction to these elements promote learning and development that are valuable to young children now and for the rest of their lives.
